A Sad Discovery

When we were on the mountain yesterday we came across this memorial in an area recently cleared of conifers. I had to check into it before returning to the scene today on order to blip it.

6 years ago a young man from Arklow town went missing. His remains were found here in what was then a forest. Another young man for whom the pressure of everyday living simply became too much. The family keep the memorial tidy to this very day.
