Camel Pie

Dinner tonight was camel pie, something I haven't tried before. I was very nice. The chips and gravy weren't bad either. Friends of ours went out to Western Queensland recently and stopped in at the Birdsville Bakery.

After a disturbed nights sleep I decided that I would spend my 40+1 day doing some DIY. A lot of wooden surfaces in the kitchen needed staining and varnishing and some painting needed to be done as well. I got straight into it when I got up.

The reason why I was happy to spend the day indoors was so that I could catch up on all the motorsport from the weekend. Plus there was V8 Supercars on today. All that amounted to around 8 hours of motorsport. My idea of good viewing.

Lucky today was a public holiday.
