All Aboard the Apple Box Express

Yes, the wagons are made out of apple boxes, and the "train" was taking visitors on a tour of Bellewood Acres at their first annual Cider Fest.

Bellewood Acres has 25,000 apple trees and over 20 varieties of apples. Some of the apples are so big this year that John and Dorie Belisle have had difficulty finding stores willing take them. I saw a box of beautiful Honeycrisps with an average weight of 15 ounces (0.42 kg).

A cup of hot cider was very enjoyable in today's autumnal chill. Note for UK readers: cider is non-alcoholic in the US. The alcoholic version is called hard cider.
