Abandoned at the edge of the field on a cold and grey day near Royston.

In the opposite direction there were numerous twitchers, with binoculars, scopes and cameras with huge lenses, looking for a Grey Backed Shrike that had been seen in the locality yesterday.

It would seem there was no sighting whilst I was in the area.

I wondered if there were any blippers amongst them.
