Ingleton Waterfalls
Those of you who haven't been there may wonder what some old pennies stuck into a tree trunk has to do with waterfalls. Well, on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail people have stuck coins into a tree trunk, mainly one and two pence coins, which they say brings good luck.
I have also photographed the waterfalls and posted them to the portfolio so if you would like to take a look, you can find them in the link below. The first photo of Thornton Force is bad due to lighting and cropping it, and because of me, the photographer. The sun was so bright and the waterfalls are through narrow rocky gorges. I loved the walk and getting out in the fresh air. An absolutely glorious day.

I can't believe I did it, which is the first time ever, but I went out with the intention of using the Nikon only to forget to put the memory card back in which was sat on my desk back home. It even has two memory card holders! Doh! How stupid did I feel? I therefore had to use my trusty compact only to find my battery was on half energy as I use it so much these days. I had part charged it yesterday but not fully. Double Doh! Too much going on in my head at the moment I think.
Was also supposed to be at Crosby beach today taking photos but it was cancelled and my friends who were going separately didn't get the messages and went. Sorry guys, but trust you had a fab time on this glorious day :)
