The Great Pyramids

Today started our new adventure in Egypt visiting The Great Pyramids of Gisa. This is the only remaining monument of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It was every bit as impressive as I thought it would be. I was surprised to see how close this site is to the center of Cairo. I had imagined having to travel far into the desert to see the pyramids. Instead it was only a short bus ride away.
