Fireworks

I baked my first Bakewell tart today. It was for my friends Steve and Elizabeth and it was pretty good. Mainly due to the pro advice from the baking mad wife. I have decided that Bakewell tarts are going to be me speciality...

We went to the Cambridge fireworks, arriving just in time for the countdown. They were fantastic, and best of all we shared them with my God daughter, who spent most of her time in my arms/on my shoulders. I was sweating far too much for a November night with the effort of carting her about! I loved it though.
