Flooding

It has been raining since Wednesday afternoon now. So we decided the best thing to do was to have a marmite du pêcheur, a kind of bouillabaisse, at the local café. We were having our meal when another thunderstorm set in with heavy rainfall. Within minutes, the street was flooded and the manhole covers were lifted off their mountings by rising water. Luckily, nobody was hurt... and B. and I. got drenched from head to toe when they decided to fetch the cars to get the rest of the party out of the café and back home!
