Banded Iris

Another glorious day here and the sun lit up the garden as the day lengthened.
I have been waiting for these irises to start to bloom and today they really started to display their worth.

The lines of sunlight, the horizontal and vertical panels add to the mix of the composition. What they add I don't know, but I liked it.

We had a Barbeque at the inlaws. I made a cream,white chocolate and raspberry shortcake that didn't set. It may have looked gooey, but it disapeared all the same.
