Black Light Fun

Fourth consecutive night at the theatre, this time running the light board for 2 Saturday night shows. These shifts can be grueling, as the night is long, it ends late, the crowds are drunk 'n rowdy, and our beloved 17-year old equipment sometimes gets tired 'n testy after four hours of constant use. Add all this to a nascent cold and a generally rotten day - I was NOT enthused.

But I arrived to find that my clear gel coat GLOWS UNDER BLACK LIGHT!!!! My glowing fingers made a stressful night substantially better, and I had a blast. The shows were great, the equipment behaved itself, and now I can sleep all day once I finish my NaNoWriMo quota. Happy Sunday!
