Have no fear

Carmen McSnorty and I felt so refreshed and chipper after the extra hour* of sleep last night that we went for an extra long walk by the creek early this morning. Her people return late tonight so after three days of caring for her, I'm running out of time to spoil her and love her up.

A concerned neighbor emailed all the dog owners in the neighborhood yesterday about a coyote sighting by this creek and warned against letting their dogs run off leash, especially the small ones. I'm not worried though because if a coyote was lurking in the grass, he'd be more likely to go for the darting, yippy little off-leash poodle that just went by with his owner, who gave me a pfff when I informed him about the coyote.
