A Tribute?

I was in a new cheap crap stuff shop the other day and saw the wooden guy.

As soon as I saw him I thought of Alison and her boys.

So - into the basket he went.

I was shooting some shots of my old camera and felt i was being watched............

Guess who it was?

Well, I just had to pay tribute to Alison and her collections of pots and wooden men.



Edit ............ what had been a nice relaxing day went downhill.
I went and had a nice long relaxing soak in the bath and when I got out I found that the water overflow was going storm.
So it was up into the attic and having a look for the cause.
Turns out that the nylon cone in the float valve has worn so I have to get a new valve.
This will be done tomorrow after I work out if it is a 1/2" or 3/4" one I need (and the DIY place is open)
In the meantime I am now all hopt and sweaty and feeling like I need a hot bath ............. and a plaster for where I battered my head or a roof joist,
