Here's Simon my husband - we may well kill me when he finds out I have Blipped him!

We have been together almost 9 years and married for 4. We actually went to school together as he was one of my brother's partner's in crime best mates. He says we went on a date to the cinema when we were at school but I honestly don't remember that, it was only one date apparently!

Anyway move on several years, I had just come back from 2 months in Australia and went out for a few Christmas drinks. Simon was out with an old school friend and we got chatting. I ended up back at his house - no, naughty shenanigans I hasten to add - and we stayed up till 5am chatting, eating Frazzles and drinking tea. The rest, as they say, is history. I gave him my home number, mobile number and work number when I left to make sure he called - he still has that piece of paper :)

Simon is one of life's great guys. He never says a bad word about anyone - well, he does but only to me. Everyone loves Si. Seriously, he is fab. He is a plumber and he and his dad run the business set up by his grandad - founded in 1934. People may call him at 9pm and ask him the most mundane questions but they would never know that they have pissed him off annoyed him for calling at silly o clock.

He eats anything, and a lot of it. He has a new penchant for gin, meaning the bottle that lasted me quite a while doesn't last quite so long now. He especially loves real ale. He has a crush on Flavia on Strictly. He spends at least half an hour on the loo when he comes home from work. He wishes he enjoys cooking but doesn't. He used to play semi-professional football. He loves Sudoko. He has an eclectic music taste and will listen to anything - Fleetwood Mac is his current favourite to listen to. He listens to Absolute Radio or Radio Two. He hates Radio One as much as I do. He loves pottering around the house. He never misses Celebrity Juice. He tells great jokes. He loves his family - despite saying his mum is daft and his dad does his head in at work. He moans at me spending to much money but it is a half hearted moan really. He is my everything.

Not only did I get free reign with the wallet yesterday he also nought me a gorgeous Winter coat from All Saints for Christmas. He deserves to be 'bigged up' massively!!
