Old Apple Tree

We pass this apple tree every time we drive to our daughters new place. Which has been a lot lately, as you know. It intrigues me. Hollowed out and gnarly, it still produces yellow apples. I don't know what they taste like, it's behind a fence. I bet it's a hundred years old or better.
