The Light in the Dark

I've never photographed fireworks before - always being too busy jumping at the bangs and aw-ing & ah-ing at the colours & patterns.

Instead I fired off some shots on my iPhone & was hugely impressed with the results. I ended up with about 4 I love for various reasons but I kept coming back to this (which almost became black and white - it looks amazing).

I don't see a firework when I look at it. Sometimes its a daisy half turned to the light. Sometimes it's a jellyfish swimming in calmest waters. And sometimes it's an organism, some bacteria or small celled creature.


And I did plenty of aw-ing & ah-ing
