Tartan Troosers...

I came home to my Blip badge in the post last night... very speedy delivery! I bought one for my best friend Glicious too. Made me happy.

Wasn't sure what to blip today, I just know that it has to be G! When I arrived to pick her up she appeared from her flat wearing bright red tartan leggings! She knows I've been enjoying the selective colour effect on my camera so she thought she'd stand out for my photos today! She certainly did that!! As we wandered along Peebles High Street, the looks people were giving her made us laugh a lot. When we went into the deli, the man behind the counter handed her a leaflet for a fashion preview that was on in the local pub. That made me laugh enough to leave the shop! What was he trying to say? She needs fashion advice from a middle aged bloke in a checked shirt and cords? (Nothing wrong with checked shirt or cords I might add... I kinda like the geeky look) Funnily enough we didn't get too many funny looks when we were in the charity shops... maybe just the boy with the sticky out bum but he was buying a (REALLY BAD) shirt which I suspect was for fancy dress purposes, but still - no room to talk about wacky clothes!

We had a giggle... perhaps I should have taken photos of the people passing us, there were a variety of puzzled looks, a teenage girl who just frowned whilst looking G up and down and one old man literally stopped in the street to ponder her outfit! You'd think they'd never seen tartan before... or perhaps that she had horns... wait, that was last weekend!

(I've had to write this in draft because I sent three pics to G and asked her to choose which one to use... however, she's working tonight so probably hasn't had time to reply so I'm not waiting any longer... don't say I didn't give you the chance to choose!)

This is like people watching from the comfort of my sofa! Brilliant! I especially like reading the 'about' parts... it's fascinating and I'm addicted!
