Another Saturday afternoon - another football match - another football blip. ( Sorry to anyone who doesn't like football )

Good match at St James Park this afternoon. First half we were 2 - 0 but let one in just before half time. No goals in the 2nd half but plenty of action. Great atmosphere in the ground and around town afterwards. We are still 3rd in the League and remain unbeaten this season.

My blip shows my favourite player Jonas Gutierrez . He was retrieving a ball which had gone out of play and acknowledged the fans who were cheering him on. He isn't the best player Newcastle has ( by a long way ) - sometimes has an off day but he usually works hard and tries his best.

****** Neil update. He is back in Kings Cross, Sydney after his trip with the milkman. He had a great time with free accommodation but he was on commission and didn't make much money. He is going to look for another job with a steady income. Weather is 30 degrees so he is off to Bondi Beach.
