The enchanted forest

The secret wood. My magical space amid the falling yellow autumn leaves and the undisturbed birds.

I bought a reduced book at the garden centre and it was listed.

Only a couple of miles from my home. I went in search (by car of course). No parking, no big signposts, but above all - no people.

I went in to have a play with the camera (fired with enthusiasm since the course on Monday) - and to explore.

I tried changing the automatic white balance (I didn't even know I had one !)
