bondi single fin classic

well, first of all, today was megadog's first day of freedom from quarantine as we picked her up this morning! welcome to your new home megs. and as a welcome we figured it was only right to take her for a good walk.

so, we spent a couple hours walking on the bondi to coogee coastal path which i've blipped a couple of the 'sculpture by the sea' artworks from. i did think i'd blip another sculpture today, however, i also knew it was the 'bondi single fin classic 2011' surf comp, so it was going to be a tough call. i hadn't realised it was also a skate comp... so it was one of those great days where blips were a'plenty.

in spite of fairly sketchy surf, the single fins won out! i couldn't resist this retro shot of single fins on top of an old car... and am slightly biased given my surf board is a single fin too :)

all in all, had a fabulous walk in sunshine and 25 degree heat. took lots of sculpture shots. the exhibition is there until the 20th so maybe i'll just blip some more from a run another day.

great to be back with M and M again, and living in bondi!
