It's beginning to feel a bit like Christmas

Ah mince pies. I've started eating them earlier than normal because I absolutely love them.

We did a taste test challenge tonight with three contenders - I could only try 2 though as the other one had nuts in and I'm allergic.

So here are the pies and their scores -

Sainsburys taste the difference - 3/5 (not pictured)
M&S - 3/5 (the round one)
Hestons at waitrose - 4/5 (the square one)

Also for the first time ever I am making my own mincemeat. It's in the fridge as we speak - I'll let you know how it goes!!
