Shaft

Lift shaft, to be precise. In my current job I don't get out and about as much I have done in previous roles but one of the (many) nice things I'm working on at the moment is coordinating an event for another local organisation (I'm being pimped out, as we say in the trade) which is taking place next Wednesday.

Had a meeting this morning at the venue, a lovely old commercial hotel that's been converted into a business centre. Looks a bit like the Bates Motel from the outside but inside is absolutely beautiful. There was something about the view up the staircase and the lift shaft that caught my eye.
