Books by My Bed

Today was rainy and cold and I didn't take any pictures. When I realized it was almost midnight and I didn't have a blip for today, I took this picture of the stacks of books beside my bed. We have so many books in our house and not enough bookcases (there isn't enough wall space left to put any more), so books end up being stacked on the floor. I've been reading a lot of children's books lately, but also comic strip reprints of the Moomins by Tove Jansson and Tintin by Herge. I just started a new middle grade book called "The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making" by Catherynne M. Valente. I've only read a couple of chapters and I'm not sure whether I like it yet.
