Remainder of the Night

Last night the power went out. Bang. I was sitting working at my computer and off it went. The house was pitch dark. I felt my way upstairs where Arvin had located his big flashlight. We found candles and lit them and spent the rest of our evening by candle light. It was a quiet and peaceful evening.
