Maritime Leith

Had a meeting in Leith this afternoon. I worked down there for a couple of years and, as someone who grew up right beside the sea, there was something calming (homely maybe) about working in an office that looked right over the Firth of Forth.

Leith's not somewhere I have much reason to go to now but when I am there I realise how much I miss the maritime Leith vibe with all its little funky pubs and restaurants. The Roseleaf, Domenico's, The King's Wark. Although I do still make it down to the Whisky Society's Leith rooms with R.

Anyway, enough reminiscing, have wine in hand and off to do some OU course work.
