Roses are red...

Or in this case, monochrome. Why is it that no matter how deep crimson roses are, they always come out a vivid pinky red when I try and photograph them.

The Boy thought I deserved some flowers for putting in a lot of work to finish his cloak in time for Samhuinn. Given that I don't see a single rose at Valentine's Day, I was loved enough to get 16 of the most beautiful roses.

Had the girls over for dinner this evening. It's always fantastic to catch up with them.

How odd, on my screen, the background is black but then loaded up on to blip there's funny little speckles.
