Jumping for joy!

At last - rain, wonderful rain!

A thorough and good downpour for most of the day has brought welcome relief to our thisty gardens!

Watching the tiny rivulet passing by, I became intriqued by the ripples caused by the falling raindrops, and then saw for a moment how the raindrop, when striking the water, leaps back into the air before finally collapsing to become part of the flow!
To capitvate this action on film, is pure luck, you keep on clicking away until, when it is downloaded, only then the real action is revealed. This image might not be much to look at, but at least there were two raindrops who thought it worthwile to jump for joy!
