The handyman is here setting traps in the attic and checking for any possible mold that might have appeared there from last year's ice dams - or any year's ice dam for that matter. Now that the garage door area is fixed there should be less freeloaders finding their way in and fewer sounds of little feet scampering across my ceiling - I hope.

They should teach classes in home ownership in school - basic plumbing, electric and what to do when your water tank suddenly gushes out water or the tub thingy (technical name for it) jambs up and you cannot fill the tub with water. Laugh if you must - but in this house if it cannot be fixed with duct tape, the handyman is called in to the rescue.
