My life in Los Angeles

Seeking medical advice

My insurance began yesterday. I was very tired from working a 14 hour shift as the Night Parking Supervisor at the Beverly Center. I've been experiencing blood clots for more than a month and so I spent some time at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. I was admitted quickly and shared my history with an older lady that wasn't very nice. I was moved on to another waiting room where a very nice young lady soon escorted me to room where there were at least 6 other patients in a small bedroom sized room. There was a curtain but not much more. Listening to the guy next to me in pain was a bit stressful. I did pray to God for him to recover. Gave urine and blood. Then a CT Scan where I had to drop my pants on the table. That wasn't comfortable. Very awkward moment as I'm wondering who is watching from the next room through the window. Waited about a half hour. The doctor returned with a scrunched look on his face. I was prescribed Cipro (generic: ciprofloxacin), a type of antibiotic for a urinary tract infection. CT scan revealed some lesions on my liver and bladder. I was told to follow up with an appointment with a Urologist which will be next Friday at 10:15am.
