Wolf Kachina

These dolls are part of native american culture and can be found in the southwestern U.S. There are numerous different kachina dolls and each have a different representation; healing, fertility, protection, bringing rainfall and so on.
The Wolf Kachina (Kuh-chee-nuh) is considered a great pack hunter who helps and guides the hunters on large combined hunts.

We purchased this particular doll while on vacation in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
