Autumn purples

Decided to have a proper go at some of the fungi I saw on my walk yesterday. Most of them were umbrella-shaped beige toadstools but I found these lovely purple ones partially obscured by some leaves. I love the lines that the gills make.

Went to see 'The Help' film tonight with a couple of friends. It is a book I read for one book group earlier this year and it is the current book for my other group. The film was very good and was a good adaptation of the film. Useful revision too just in case I don't get chance to re-read the book before the middle of November!
