We Will Remember
Each year, towards the end of October, I get a small packet through the letterbox containing a letter and two 'In remembrance' crosses.
These come from the 'Western Front Association' as I contacted them when they were appealing for people to place the crosses on the graves of soldiers that had fallen in WW1.
Along with this I do tidy them up as there does not seem to be any family doing this and one of them gets overgrown with brambles and other weeds.
If you would like to do this, it's only once a year, you can contact the W.F.A. and they will advise you of any graves in your locality that need the crosses placing on them for remembrance day 11 / 11, the day the armistice was signed at the end of World War 1.
