Almere

After a half-day course sales & entrepeneurship I stopped at the 'beach' of Almere, as the alternative was to spend that time in a traffic jam. The beach is next to the highway A6 (seen in the background) and the most depressing city in the country (other side of the highway) *

* the first part of Almere was built in 1975 and has since grown to almost 200.000 inhebitants, mostly families working in the Amsterdam region, by means of sterile, scientifically correct urban planning (i.e. boring). **
