Autumn Birch

'Twas a funny old day today. Worked from home in the morning to try to access a doctor's appointment, but our local surgery's booking system seems specifically designed to make that almost impossible for working people. Eventually, I sat in the surgery for an hour (thank goodness for the Blackberry, so it was reasonably productive) till I was seen. Super-efficient and helpful as ever once I saw the brilliant doctor, and problem sorted.

When I got up, sun was pouring through the window, and through this tree. This is the silver birch in our front garden, so I see it every morning and maybe that means I don't always notice it. Today it was glowing brilliantly in the morning sun, so here it is.

Having been to the doctor, the afternoon was spent dealing with a spot of MLC, but that's for another blip.
