Pataniscas mix
It's a simple pleasure, cooking under my mother's supervision. She tells me what to do and I follow her directions, always learning something new in the way.
Today's "lesson" was pataniscas de bacalhau (codfish fritters in english, I think), a typical portuguese dish, usually eaten with red bean rice.
Onion, parsley, eggs, garlic, codfish, salt, pepper, Porto wine, water (from boiling the codfish) and baking powder. All sliced, mixed and then fried.
