Doesn't this flag look like a house? Oh, right, it is a house that has just been aligned with an empty flagpole!

I walked along the shores of Evie overlooking the Sound of Eynhallow. Really windy, as usual. Lots of little waders there, mainly turnstones and purple sandpipers. I went as far as the Broch of Gurness, the Iron Age broch, which is always a good spot to get out of the wind and make coffee.
