I'm glad I don't do maths

This was the blackboard that greeted us as we entered to have a talk about 3rd and 4th year fieldtrips. This is pretty much my nightmare, although it might be quite simple - my brain just shuts off looking at it.

Quite exciting possibilities in 4th year to go walking about on Iceland's glaciers and take ice core samples, so I hope I can do that! The alternative is the Scottish highlands - not quite the same.

Spend my break reading a book in George Square in the sun, chatting to a nice guy who studied German who was also enjoying the sun.

Lots of work to do tonight, though I'm tempted by Orange Wednesdays...
