List dam lists..

Carole, who organises our away days is in the Uk for a few months, so guess what, the task has been given to me. List put up weeks ago, names went on it, list came down. I spent last night doing pairings, timings etc, sorting out who wants the all day breakfast, who wants a buggy etc, took the list to the club this morning and guess what. One of the players has had an accident, he climbed down a ravine to retrieve his ball, fell and broke a rib, all for the sake of a 1.50 euro ball, so he has cancelled, 3 people came to me to say that they hadn't seen the original list on the board and did I have any spare T times. I phoned the course, arranged another T time, and tomorrow the list will be re typed and Roy can take it to the club on Friday.

Today was a day of nearly's. Roy missed out on first place by one point, I missed out on 4th place by one point, it was one of our Major days today, Roy won a decent bottle of brandy, me I got nothing.
