New Boots

The baby came over and spent the day. Everyone's electricity is out, no phone, no Internet. It's like camping out inside our house.

A little CABIN FEVER is developing. People are GROUCHY!

And it didn't help that she is cutting two new molars, poor thing. But she got some great new boots and we went walking in the snow.

Halloween trick or treating was cancelled for tonight, as there are power lines down all over, hiding under the snow. Too dangerous for kids to be out on foot. But we had three pumpkins from the garden so we carved them and put them out anyhow, just for tradition's sake.
