Ominous!

Every Wednesday, I work as a volunteer at a local centre offering support to mentally and physically disabled people, so ended up popping across the road five minutes before leaving the house,to take a few quick shots. (whilst saying goodmorning to ouroh so quiet neighbours in the cemetery at the same time.)Seemed like the perfect spot for today, as the mist, just rising, was hanging in the air giving a sombre feel .I was taken by the contrast between the rich greens of the hedging studded with the burnt shades of falling leaves, against the Autumn golds of the trees, which then in turn, disappeared into the mist.As I stood beneath the trees, I felt the mist turn to rain, hitting my face ,reminding me of a quote which goes as follows:
"A feeling of sadness and longing that is not akin to pain, and resembles sorrow only as the mist resembles the rain."
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
