Hamish

This rather magnificent beast is called Hamish Billy, his friend in the background is equally lovely and named Molly, but it is Billy that has a special place in the hearts of my children. They both live on a small farm run by the local council in a nearby country park. There is a strange collection of animals including 2 pigs, hens, ducks, a Shetland pony, rabbits and some budgies! But Billy is our favourite, the first time we met him was about 6 or 7 years ago when he was only a week old. Ky got to feed him from a milk bottle and although Josh was still tiny and in his buggy he has had a love of highland cattle ever since and loves to go to visit Billy. I took this photo today when I went to take Coco for a walk and although I didn't have the children with me couldn't pass the farm without popping in to say hello. Coco was too busy with her nose to the ground sniffing the wonderful smells to notice the huge animal beside her and so didn't seem bothered in the slightest.
