poetry? some of my elementary school-level students told me today that they hate poetry. "it's boring." "we don't understand the words." reasonable observations, considering english isn't their first language, and they're only 10 years old...

so i said we'd make "poetry" together. this is one of the results. 4 students, a lot of yelling of random words, some mountain/melting confusion amidst mispronunciations and misunderstandings, and in the end, a lot of fun.
