Brrr. Finger numbing, ear stinging, eye watering to walk into the wind yet pleasant to walk with it at our backs. It had some curious effect on dog brains too apparently. Not one of the three of them seemed capable of walking in a straight line today.

These Canada geese were lounging in the lee of the shore.
