Fungus - would you eat it?

Didn't think I would get a blip today as I was busy driving to Crewe from Liverpool for a workshop and still hadn't been inspired. I was listening to a programme on Radio 4 about the amazing range of medical and food uses for fungi, stepped out of my car in the business park car park, looked down and saw this amazing fungus. It's not good focus but I like the shape and colour. Wonder if it's safe to eat??!!
