Cliff Hanger

Went for a drive at lunch time . Pulled over as it was one of those photo opportunity moments: beautiful skies, amazing clouds, silhouette of trees dotting the landscape, puddles reflecting the sun. Crossed road , accidentally stepped up to my ankles in said puddle, I had sandals on
( of course ) took some shots turned round and realised that what I thought was a little " off road parking " was infact me parking car on its side almost . The car of course would not move. Stranded there with nothing but a bag of bananas and Blondie CD for company....

Put hazards on and keot trying to pull out, luckily a passing man helped me after about ten minutes . A police car had driven past and ignored me . The photos were mainly shit. Worth it then...???

On my way back to work, after my knight in shining armour had rescued me, I pulled over again when I drove past Shipley Glen ( hey no point just sitting safe when I could be hanging off the edge of a rock on with my next careless car move) The lighting was ace, allowing the trees to cast great shadows today.

I have toyed with B and W or colour but have decided to go back this week to get more of the trees in the background so will show their deep reds off then. So today you have B and W

This was a piece of loveliness in an otherwise chaotic day
