Trick or Treat

I'm usually quite good at not dipping into the Halloween sweets before the actual day, but my will power let me down somewhat this year! Did manage to leave some though!

I was far more successful at pretending we weren't in. I don't really approve of trick or treating, whether that is because I never did it when I was younger, I'm not sure. I don't mind people having parties, by all means get dressed up and have a good time, but going round begging for sweets? Ban it!

I've always thought that if I had my way we just wouldn't answer the door. Mum and Dad say they would do this, but Mum usually fails and starts dishing out the sweets. Tonight, however, she happened to be on the phone to Grandma when the two knocks on the door came.

Therefore, we still have a bowl full of sweets!

Surprised actually, thought we'd have had some over the weekend as well.
