A boat, a bird, a fisherman - and France

Went on a different route to my usual one tonight, as I needed carrots for a soup I'm making. It was so still, still very mild, and very pleasant walking down to The Strand.

It's been one of those days where the sea meets the sky and they merge into one. However, you could see France in the distance - quite clearly - today. The yacht was chugging along (I don't think it was wind power it was using today!), quite a few people were fishing, and the seagull was doing what seagulls do (waiting for offerings from the fishermen, no doubt).

The sky was quite low, but just made it all a bit more atmospheric!
