Taking the Phun out of Photography

1. Teaching it to a class of 20 (mostly angry and disaffected) teens, only half of whom opted for the subject out of genuine interest and not - 'oh well there wasn't anything else I fancied on the list'
2. Only ten of them have a camera, those that only have phone cameras have no idea/interest in saving images to a hard drive/memory device to work on their images in class
3. Those learners who achieved a level 4 in their English SAT results when they were 10/11 are expected to gain a C pass or above in GCSE Photography - just because - well - the statistics say so.
