Four of Twelve

This is the fourth in a series of twelve featuring the orchard part of our garden, to show the changes throughout the seasons. The branches of the Elm trees in the background are almost bare and our Cherry pollinator is a lovely golden colour. There are a great many leaves on the ground and these will have to be removed before too long.

It rained first thing this morning, but for most of the day it has been sunny and quite warm. I bought all the ingredients this morning for my Christmas cake, so hopefully I will find time this week to actually make it.
