A NICE CYCLE PATH
between Beverungen and Dalhausen, along the brook called Bever, we followed Mischa and I in the early morning.
.A greyish dark sky above us but the coloured trees kept surprising us everywhere. We wanted to go to the donkeys, found only one left in the meadow. We had no apples with us but found a lot red ones lying on the ground and on our way back we gave some to the donkey and the goats, too.
In the afternoon we go swimming in the Therme where there is warm salt water. Very relaxing, for Mischa a good thing after the eleven hours she spend yesterday in trains on her way to Karlshafen.
My haiku:
The trees on the hills
In proud and fiery outlook
We want to be them
And the Yiddish proverb:
A young tree bends; an old one breaks.
