Happy Halloween

We were so looking forward to taking Gracie trick-or-treating tonight. It wasn't to be. She didn't have a nap today and by 5 o'clock she was getting a little cranky. Did not want to put on her costume ( a fairy) or the alternate (a bumble bee). No amount of cajoling worked. So we let her be, and while we were eating dinner she decided she wanted to go, but not wear a costume. So momma took her to a few neighbors and she loved it. Costume or not, as long as you say 'trick-or-treat' and are cute, you earn candy. So the photo I was hoping to post tonight of her in her costume didn't happen. Instead you get jack-o-lanterns. Living in a rural area, we are used to getting only a small handfull of trick-or-treaters. Tonight, we had none. :-( except Gracie did say 'trick-or-treat when she came back).
My photos have not been the quality I would like lately. Hopefully my life will get back to (semi)normal soon so I can devote a little more time to photography.
